Dear friends Assalam-o-alaikum
BPPA has received a request from the Armed Forces medical team overseeing the trauma and rehabilitation work in the aftermath of the tragedy in Peshawar for psychiatrists and psychologists who have training and experience in trauma and PTSD work. They will be requested to travel to Pakistan and help train local psychologist and councellors who will be working with the staff, children and their families, over the coming weeks and months.
If you have the training and experience to train the trainers, or know of someone who does, I would like to hear from you as a matter of urgency via email with your contact telephone number so I can discuss the needs and your availability.
Please let me know if you can help, ASAP, as time is of essence and our children, staff and their families need our help.
I can also be contacted on 07831 888 565.
Kind regards
Mateen
